Quote follow-up for residential contractors

You sent the quote. Now make sure you get an answer.

Your inbox already knows which jobs you win. Bidador turns it into your quoting playbook — it finds the estimates you have already sent, chases the ones going quiet, and tells you which new requests are worth the drive.

  • 14-day Pro trial
  • No credit card
  • Keep the tools you already use

A preview of the Bidador dashboard showing $184,750 of open quote value, a breakdown by state, and the customers waiting on a reply.

Most contractors lose more work to silence than to price. A quote goes out, the customer gets busy, nobody follows up, and three months later it is a PDF in a sent folder.

Know what to quote

BidGuard reads your own record and says which incoming requests have historically been worth your afternoon.

Know what to chase

Every estimate that went quiet, ranked by what is actually worth reopening — and followed up from your own address.

Know what to leave behind

The jobs your history says do not come back. Bidador will say so plainly rather than keep them on a list forever.

How it works

Four steps, and none of them are data entry

Bidador sits behind the mailbox you already send estimates from. There is nothing to import and nothing to keep up to date.

  1. 01

    Connect your inbox

Gmail or Microsoft 365, in about a minute. Bidador reads the mail you have sent — not your whole inbox.

  2. 02

    It finds the estimates

It reads back through your sent mail, picks out the quotes, and totals up every one that never got a yes or a no.

  3. 03

    It knows what needs you

Replies get read and sorted. The ones only you can answer — a date, a price, a decision — land at the top of your morning.

  4. 04

    It learns what you win

As endings get recorded, BidGuard starts reading your own history back to you: which requests are worth an afternoon, and which are not.

BidGuard

Your quoting time is the scarcest thing you have

Every request is an afternoon: the drive, the measure, the write-up. BidGuard reads the record already sitting in your mailbox — which trades get answered, which price bands close, which customers come back — and tells you where that afternoon is usually well spent.

  • It is arithmetic, not an oracle

Every line is a count of jobs in your own mailbox, shown with its denominator. There is no score, no model opinion, and nothing labelled AI confidence.

  • It stays quiet until it can be right

Below a real threshold of recorded endings, Bidador withholds the recommendation and says exactly what is missing. A guess with a confident sentence around it is worse than nothing.

  • It never acts on its own

Nothing on the Requests screen sends, hides, ranks or closes anything. The reading is a sentence with its evidence under it; the decision stays yours.

An example of the reading, not a customer's results. Every count on a real card is a count of jobs in your own mailbox.

Recovery

The money is already in your sent folder

On the day you connect your mailbox, Bidador reads back through what you have already sent and totals every estimate that never got a decision. In this demo account that is $286,400 across 16 quotes.

Each one comes with the reasons it is worth reopening — an unanswered question, a customer who asked you to call back in the spring, a quote that never had a single follow-up. No invented percentages.

  • Arturo Benitez · Standing Seam Metal Roof

    $29,400

    • Largest unresolved estimate in the scan.
  • Deborah Yancey · Roof Replacement

    $27,900
    • No rejection anywhere in the thread.
    • Customer asked to revisit after the fall — that date has passed.

You stay in charge

What it will not do on your behalf

Bidador writes to your customers from your address. The limits on that are hard rules in the product, not settings you have to remember to turn on.

It stops when someone replies

The moment a customer answers, the sequence ends. Nobody gets chased after they have already written back.

It never talks money

Bidador will not quote a price, offer a discount, change scope or promise a start date. If a customer asks for one of those, the thread stops and you get an alert.

It shows its working

Every read of a reply comes with a reason and a confidence level, and you can overrule it in one click.

Security

Mailbox access is the most sensitive permission you will grant this product

So here is the whole of it, in the same words the app uses when you connect.

What it reads

  • Mail you have sent, so it can find estimates.
  • Replies on threads where an estimate was found.
  • Attachment names and sizes — not the file contents unless an estimate is detected in one.

What it stores

  • The estimate itself: customer, project, value, date.
  • The messages in that thread, with quoted history stripped out.
  • Nothing from mail that is not an estimate conversation.

What it never touches

  • Your password. Bidador never sees it.
  • Your inbox at large, your contacts, or your calendar.
  • Tokens in readable form — they are encrypted before they touch the database.

You can disconnect a mailbox at any time, and Bidador stops reading and stops sending the moment you do.

No new CRM. No new estimating software.

Keep quoting the way you quote now — in your estimating software, in a spreadsheet, on a PDF you built yourself. Bidador sits behind your mailbox and does one job.

Nothing to re-enter
It reads the estimates you already send.
Nothing to migrate
No customer import, no data cleanup, no setup weekend.
Nothing to remember
Follow-ups run whether or not you open the app.
Nothing new to learn
One list, ordered by what needs you first.

Pricing

Two plans. One recovered job pays for a year of either.
